Dr. Aanchal Taneja, MD
Bio
Dr. Taneja is a board certified, fellowship-trained neurologist who specializes in movement disorders (ie Parkinson's Disease, Huntington's Disease, Essential tremors, etc.). She completed her Residency in Neurology, as well as two fellowships, one in Clinical Neurophysiology and the other in Movement Disorders with a special focus on Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) programming at UT Southwestern. She also serves on the American Academy of Neurology and Movement Disorders Society. Dr. Taneja offers the full spectrum in treating neurological disorders. As a specialized neurologist, Dr. Taneja has an edge in providing skilled injection of botulinum toxin for the treatment of a variety of movement disorders. Her clinical research interests include anything and everything Parkinson's and the use of DBS as an effective method in the management of movement disorders. Dr. Taneja is distinguished and has presented at major national and international conferences in which she has received several awards and grants for her exceptional efforts.
